Due to further expansion Tariam is looking to recruit a:-
Commercial Accountant
We have an opening for an experienced Commercial or Management Accountant on a 6 month contract to supervise our Finance Department, starting immediately. We envisage the role will need 4 to 5 days a week (hours flexible) initially, working in our Bicester HQ. There’s the possibility that the successful applicant could be offered a full time role at the end of the contract period.
The role is key to the day to day operation and decision making of the business, reporting to the directors. It incorporates both financial management and business decision making, and the ideal candidate will be commercially aware in all aspects of business. The candidate will be experienced in and comfortable with getting engaged in hands on work and not just delegating.
The candidate will enjoy working in fast growing, pan European business and be familiar with all facets of international online business and billing systems, and be comfortable producing accurate management information to tight deadlines.
Key tasks and areas of work
Financial Management:
Timely business analysis and reporting
Financial forecasting and modelling
Commercial decision evaluation
Currency hedging and planning
Developing and monitoring financial processes
Supervision of accounting team (5 heads)
Credit control
Stock control
Cash flow management
Production and interpretation of management information
Business management:
Development and monitoring of operating systems
Development and monitoring of efficient and effective work practices
Essential skills:
Excel and ICT
Strong knowledge of Quick Books
Computerised finance and operating systems (preferably with new system development)
Good communication skills
Strong finance background – Accounting Qualifications essential
The position is based at our HQ in Bicester, Oxfordshire.
