Telfos

In response to the demand from our construction and energy industry customers, Tariam has developed its own Voice over IP and fax telephone service, Telfos, for use on our iaccess and iconnect satellite platforms.

Telfos was developed by our own Engineers, who obviously have unique insight into how our satellite platforms work. This has enabled them to harmonise the services to deliver exceptional business quality voice calls with very low latency, the equivalent to that you would find on the cellular network.

Our voice services offer all the usual advanced features you would expect from modern VoIP networks including conference calling, voice mail, call transferring etc and we can offer free site to site calling, cheap PSTN breakout as well as being able to interface with your own 'Head Quarters' PBX.

Using Mesh topography with iconnect, we can offer switching on board the satellite providing site to site communication via single satellite hop, delivering a robust and resilient communications infrastructure where no fixed line connectivity exists.
