Professional Installation
We have a new dedicated website called ToowayDirect for all our home user and home office customers in Europe. Follow this link, there’s a wealth of new information and the best online deals on Tooway.
Your Tariam Tooway outside dish and indoor modem can be installed by one of our Certified Engineers. The Engineer will call you a couple of days before the installation is due to take place and discuss with you what’s going to happen on the day. You have our guarantee that they’ll do a professional job.
If you want to use a local installer to do the work, and potentially save some money, that’s OK with us. We’d advise you to make sure that you confirm that the engineer is competent..
“to install and test a 2 way VSAT satellite broadband system operating on Ka band“
If you opt for us to do the work, the Engineer will bring your Tooway equipment and everything needed to complete the job with them when they come to do the work.
The price for Tariam installation quoted on our website is for a “Standard Installation”.
This is defined as:-
- Installation using a standard wall bracket bolted to a concrete, brick or stone wall
- Dish height not to be above 4 metres and to be within 30 metres of the indoor unit.
- Cable routed through one exterior wall and one interior wall or floor
Other installation options are available, but you may incur extra costs. Part of the order process is for you to complete an online Site Survey form which gives the Engineer more information about your property so that they can complete a smooth installation for you. If you think you need a different kind of dish mount, state this on the Site Survey form.
If you require more detailed information and guidance on installation read the articles in the FAQ’s on our dedicated Tooway website.
If you are considering a Tooway system and you’re in Europe, the satellite we will use will be Ka Sat. It is essential that before the Engineer comes to your site to do the installation that you check that there is uninterrupted line of site to the satellite that provides the service.
